WWYS #22: No Bones About It

Update: Woohoo! Excited to say that I was a Designer's Pick over at CYCI! Thanks CYCI!

Welcome back to this week's What Will You Stamp Challenge and I'm crashing the party over at CYCI#79 this week too! This week we've got a No Bones About It challenge! This set is in the current catalog in the kids sections but I've got to say that I think it works really well for us old folks too! Here's my card for the week...

I used Very Vanilla cardstock for my base and the "page" with the dinosaur fossil on it. The background was made using a retired background stamp that I love but you could also use the map paper from the Typeset DSP and it would look very similar. I used a sponge dauber to antique my paper with Crumb Cake ink. The fossil is stamped in Early Espresso to match the strip of paper on the left side. That strip of paper was heat embossed with footprints in Early Espresso.

I used my rotary stamper (love that thing) to create a custom greeting and snipped those pieces out by hand. I adhered them with glue dots and popped the "page" up using dimensionals. I added another strip of home made map DSP to the inside of the card, stamped another fossil and called it good!

I hope you like it!  Check out this whole set below! There aren't just fossils but whole dinosaurs too. I also love all of the little details that you get with this set. You get so many leaves, dots/spots, foot prints and even a  little party hat for the dinos! Pretty cool!

Don't forget to hop on over to What Will You Stamp? to see what the rest of the design team has created this week! This set is so amazing and can be used in so many different ways that I can't wait to get over there and check it out myself! I hope you'll take the time to join us this week! We would love to see What Will You Stamp with the No Bones About It set and you can submit your project ideas directly to our blog over at WWYS! Did you know that we pick a winner each week from those of you play along.... and that winner becomes our guest designer in one of the upcoming challenges! Don't miss your chance to join us!

...And, this two week "Anything Goes" challenge from the crew over at CYCI is kind of irresistible... so count me in again! Gotta love CYCI#79!!

Thanks for stopping by and happy Monday!
