Howdy! Well, this post is a long time coming because I made this card in February for my display board at the OnStage event in April! How crazy that I still have cards and projects from so long ago that I still haven't shared.
Watercoloring is one of my favorite things and that's what this card is all about... and gold. Watercoloring and gold! I heat embossed this pretty little flower (now retired) in gold and watercolored it with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo. The background was done with Tempting Turquoise.
I added sentiments from a Thank You set called, "All Things Thanks." Its a fun set and I really like the fonts. I cut a strip from the gold and white striped bags, cut a scalloped square frame from gold foil, added a fancy gold trim sticker and some adorable mini sequins to embellish this card.
I'm at work and on the run again but just wanted to stop by to share and say hello. Have a terrific day!
Oh yeah, before I forget, Please come back tomorrow. I'm hopping with the Creating Kindness team tomorrow and we have an amazing hop planned with one of my favorite themes ever: Art Inspiration! We each got to pick a piece of art to inspire our own work and it was so much fun. Come back tomorrow to see which famous work of art I picked and how it inspired me... here's a hint: more watercoloring!
Ok, see you tomorrow I hope!
Need more stamps now? Never fear! I've got you covered!
